About the Customer :MINISTRY OF HEALTH, BAHRAIN:

{mosimage}The Ministry of Health works in partnership with stakeholders to improve the health of the population of Bahrain and ensure that everyone has access to a high quality, responsive health service throughout their lifetime. ALMOAYED Group was given the opportunity to replace the existing systems to an IP based platform at Ministry of Health. We not only replaced the system at Salmaniya hospital but also the ones at Headquaters, PHD, Psychiatric department. Smaller systems were supplied at 14 of other health centers. The replacement of the existing system with an Ip system was done using Nortel Communication server.

Solution Highlights :

As part of the enabling infrastructure of Nortel Networks high performance network, Meridian 1 system deliver to your business modularity, flexibility and scalability. Meridian 1Systems employ a client-server based design that supports a range of users from 60 up to 16,000 cost effectively and efficiently. Meridian 1 Option 81c provides the ability to select a configuration within the 200-16,000 port range. Ports can be flexibly configured, supporting traditional analog or digital desktop users as well as supporting next generation technology such as i2004 IP telephone, i2050 Soft phone, Unified messaging platforms and Web Enabled Call Centers. The functional areas of Meridian 1 Option 81C are: Power equipment, common equipment, network equipment and peripheral equipment. We have also framed the call center for Salmaniya Hospital, with 20 agents expandable to 150.

We provided the Nortel unified messaging solution, which allows the e-mails to be left on telephone, pc or laptops. It also allows the faxes to be directly displayed on your preferred e-mail client. A Fax on Demand application has been provided to send back information to callers on the services offered by the hospital. The entire integration of the network was also part of the solution provided.
