We have set up the Voice solutions using Nortel Meridian IP structure with 500 extensions. Nortel Networks is an industry leader and innovator focused on transforming how the world communicates and exchanges information. The Company is supplying its SP and enterprise customers with communication technology and infrastructure solutions to enable value-added IP data, voice and multimedia services spanning Wireless Networks, Wire line Networks, Enterprise Networks, and Optical Networks. Nortel Meridian is a private branch exchange. It provides advanced voice features, data connectivity, LAN communications, computer telephony integration (CTI), and information services for communication applications ranging from 20 to 16,000 users.
We have also set up Unified messaging for 400 voicemail users with 400 digital phones.Unified messaging technique transforms voicemail into multi-dimensional unified messaging, Phone-based e-mail management using Text-to-Speech for message playback. The promise of Unified Messaging (UM) is to deliver all messages - voice, email, SMS, instant messages, etc. - into one mailbox. Users can access voice mail using their computer, and email using the phone. This goal introduces several technical challenges, many of which have been met.
