Top Enterprises attend Almoayed Group & Alcatel-Lucent Customer Event

Bahrain - Almoayed Group and Alcatel-Lucent organized year 2009 customer event to update on latest products, solutions and services offering by Alcatel-Lucent. The event was officially opened by Lt. General Dr. Mohammed Abdulla Al Khalifa, Minister of State for Defense Affairs in the presence of various dignitaries and Almoayed Group Chairman Mr. Nabeel Almoayed.
The event was one of a kind organized by the top two telecom companies in Bahrain. Titled Become a dynamic enterprise, the event put forth the challenge faced by organizations and the strategy organizations must adopt to become dynamic. It covered various topics on data and voice networks and advised participants on how they can invest to save money.

The event gave a platform to participants to update on the market trends and on latest communication solutions.
IIB Selects Almoayed Group (AG) as its IT Infrastructure Partner

Manama , Bahrain - IIB announced that it will continue to expand its IT Infrastructure by deploying latest IT solutions that will help the bank meet future customer requirements efficiently. The bank selected Almoayed Group as its preferred vendor for the latest Disaster Recovery Solution, as the Group deployed the Bank™s back office IT infrastructure for Core Banking Software last year. Last year Almoayed realized the critical business environment and provided a stable platform which was reliable and scalable for growth.
At the signing ceremony for the latest project to build up a Disaster Recovery (DR) site, Mr. Said Itani, Head of Information Technology at IIB said, "Almoayed Group was up to the challenge to overcome other two local vendors in earning the contract to supply and install the IT infrastructure of IIB's Disaster Recovery Center. Since IIB established a business relation with AG, they are very keen to fulfill our requirements by proposing competitive solutions and providing satisfactory after sales support and services". AG designed the DR Plan considering IT priorities required on the secondary site in case the primary site fails.
DR Plan considered the business requirements, affordable downtime, Information Security, Compliances and regulations. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Rajan Mohindra CEO , Almoayed Group said AG was awarded the project due to our vast experience in Business Continuity (BCP) consulting in the region. AG took a consulting approach to understand the strategic importance of IIB requirements and designed a solution that not only addressed the immediate requirements of backing-up their mission critical data, but also provided an online DR solution that backed-up the data to a geographically different site, over the leased line, byte-by-byte as the data grows. The users will be able to access the Applications and Data from Secondary site in case primary site fails.

Almoayed Group Employees Donate Blood
Almoayed Group organized blood donation drive as part of the Group™s commitment to corporate social responsibilities. The event took place at the company™s premises, in cooperation with Salamaniya Hospital. More than 80 Almoayed Group employees led by Rajan Mohindra, CEO voluntarily donated blood at the event.
The Group is actively involved in social causes over the years. Recently, Almoayed Group was awarded as The best ICT solutions provider in Bahrain by the e-Government Authority.
