Almoayed Group in association with IMaCS conducted a conference on “Implementing Basel II Accord for Credit Risk Management". The event highlighted the importance of integrating the risk management process in Banking & Financial sector and the need to comply with Basel II standards. The conference which was attended by 30 delegates from over 12 recognized BFSI companies in Bahrain, helped the participants to understand the challenges of Credit Risk and the benefits for planning and constructing the IRB compliant risk rating models. IMaCS team also demonstrated Risk Scorer System which is a credit risk solution for Basel II

Almoayed Group and Paladion organized a conference on “Information Security for Government Sector” at Diplomat Radisson SAS. 40 delegates from various Government and Ministries attended the event. The conference highlighted the importance of security management system for securing government IT infrastructure and emphasized the need of certifying the security with global standards including ISO 27001 and BS 25999.

Pension Fund Commission 1st Government entity in Bahrain to achieve ISO 27001 certification

Pension Fund Commission (PFC) has recently been awarded the ISO 27001:2005 Certification for Information Security, making it the first government entity in Bahrain to achieve this. ISO 27001 is the globally recognized standard for protecting against information security risks and getting certified against this standard demonstrates high level of security maturity for an organization. The ISO 27001 standard has been implemented by PFC in partnership with Almoayed Group, the leading IT company in the Kingdom and Paladion Networks, a Globally acclaimed Information Security firm.
